For privacy questions or requests, contact: yell0wcircle12345@gmail.com
2. What Aulert does

- Due dates;
- Grades;
- Submission status;
- Announcements;
- Class materials; and
- Related identifiers and metadata.
You may also choose to receive browser or Discord notifications.

We use information to:

5. Google API Services
Aulert’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Aulert requests only the Google permissions needed for the features it provides. The actual permissions shown to you depend on the current Aulert implementation and Google’s authorization process.
You can review or revoke Aulert’s access through your Google Account permissions.
6. Legal bases
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, Thailand PDPA, or another similar law applies, the legal basis for processing may include:
- Providing the service: processing is needed to provide features you request;
- Consent: where consent is required, including optional analytics;
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, troubleshooting, and improving Aulert, where permitted;
- Legal obligations: complying with applicable law; and
- Legal claims: establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
7. Analytics and cookies
Aulert uses strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies where needed for sign-in, security, account functionality, and requested features.
Optional analytics is enabled only after consent where required by applicable law. You may reject optional analytics without losing access to the core Aulert service.
You can change your analytics choice through your account settings.
We configure analytics to avoid intentionally collecting Google Classroom content, grades, assignment details, direct user identifiers, and Discord webhook URLs.
Vercel may process technical information according to its own policies and infrastructure configuration.
8. Discord
If you connect a Discord webhook, Aulert stores and uses it as a credential to send notifications that you request.
Notifications may include information derived from Google Classroom, depending on your settings.
Discord and people with access to the selected channel may receive or retain those notifications. Their handling of the information is governed by Discord’s terms, privacy policy, and the settings of the relevant server and channel.
If you believe a webhook has been exposed, delete or rotate it in Discord and remove it from Aulert.
9. How information is shared
We may share or disclose information with:
- Google: Google provides sign-in, Google Classroom API access, and related update services.
- Vercel: Vercel may provide hosting, application delivery, Web Analytics, and technical logging.
- Supabase: Supabase may provide database and related infrastructure services.
- Google Cloud: Google Cloud may provide infrastructure, logging, update-notification, Pub/Sub, or related services.

- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation; respond to a valid legal request; protect users, the public, or Aulert; investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information.
10. Storage and retention
Aulert is designed not to maintain a permanent database of your Google Classroom content. However, Classroom information may be temporarily processed or retained in:
- Application memory;
- Background jobs;
- Caches;
- Notification processing;
- Error reports;
- Security logs;

We retain such information only as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

- Google authorization credentials: until disconnection, account deletion, or when no longer needed;
- Discord webhook information: until removal, disconnection, or account deletion;
- Temporary processing data: until the relevant request or notification is completed;

- Backups: overwritten or deleted according to the provider’s backup cycle.
These periods may change if needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or technical operations.
11. International processing
Aulert and its service providers may process information in Thailand, Singapore, other countries in Asia, and other countries where the providers operate, depending on their infrastructure and account configuration.
The actual location may vary between providers and services. We use reasonable measures intended to protect information during international processing.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we will use a legally recognized transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard.

- Your profile information;
- Your Google account identifier;
- Your saved settings;
- Your Discord webhook information;
- Your Google authorization credentials; and
- Google update-notification registrations associated with your account.
Deletion may not immediately remove information from backups, security records, legal records, Discord, Google, or analytics systems that do not contain a direct user identifier.
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or establish or defend legal claims.
15. Children and minors
Aulert does not set a separate age threshold that overrides Google’s or local law’s requirements.
You may use Aulert only if you are legally permitted to use Google and Google Classroom in your country and under your school’s rules.
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent, guardian, school, or other legally authorized person where required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information without required permission, contact yell0wcircle12345@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where legally required.
16. Third-party services
Third-party providers process information according to their own policies and terms. Relevant providers may include: Google, Google Cloud, Vercel, Supabase, and Discord.
We do not control the privacy or security practices of third parties and are not responsible for changes to their services or policies.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by publishing a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date.
