No. Aulert connects with read-only access through your Google account. It can see your Classroom activity, but it can't post, submit, or edit anything.

Any Google account enrolled in at least one Google Classroom class. This includes personal Gmail accounts, Google Workspace for Education accounts, and school-issued Google accounts.
Aulert works with any school that uses Google Classroom. If your school has restricted third-party app access, your school's IT administrator may need to allowlist Aulert.
Aulert tracks assignments, graded submissions, teacher posts and announcements, and shared materials — everything the Google Classroom API makes available to students.
Aulert polls Google Classroom at regular intervals. Notifications typically arrive within a few minutes of the activity appearing in Classroom.
In your Aulert settings, go to Notifications and then Discord, then paste a Discord Incoming Webhook URL from your server. From that point, Aulert will send updates to that channel automatically.
Yes. You can filter by event type — for example, only new assignments, only grades, or all activity — before the webhook is triggered.
Aulert stores only the minimum necessary to run the service: your user ID, which classes you're enrolled in, and notification preferences. Assignment content and grades are fetched on demand and not persisted beyond delivery.
Go to myaccount.google.com, then Security, then Third-party apps with account access, find Aulert, and click Remove Access. This immediately revokes the connection.
Yes. Because Aulert is a web app, any device with a modern browser can access it after you sign in. Web push notifications are enabled per browser.
Aulert works in any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Web push notifications require a browser that supports the Push API.
First, make sure your browser's notification permission for Aulert is set to Allow. Then check that your Discord webhook URL is still valid — webhooks can be deleted from the Discord server settings. If the problem continues, reach out through the Support page.
Teacher and parent views are on the roadmap but not available in v1. If you're a teacher interested in early access, contact us through the Support page.
Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days of the deletion request. Google access is revoked at the same time.
